We look forward to seeing you at the Winter Festival at Lake Mývatn 2021. We remind guests to respect the disease prevention and the two meter rule!

We encourage you to enjoy accommodation, food and outdoor activities while staying in the area, bring hiking boots, cross-country skis and skis and enjoy all that the area has to offer at your own time and own terms. Mask duty is where it is not possible to ensure a 2 meter space between individuals who are not in close contact. The obligation to wear a mask does not apply to children born in 2005 or later. There will be no formal opening at the festival, but each event organizer is responsible for their own prevention. As the situation is today (1.2.2021), spectators at sports events are prohibited unless they can sit in seats. 50-person restrictions apply elsewhere.
