Vaglaskógur forest
The rangers ensure that there are ski trails in Vaglaskógur forest on weekends during the Winter Festival. Parking by the Forestry. Wonderful to ski in the woods! More info on facebook.
Laugar village
Ski trails in Laugar in Reykjadalur valley when the weather allows. Parking by the swimming pool in Laugar. In the week before Winter festival there was not enough snow in Laugar for the trail, let´s cross fingers for snow. Get more info from Sighvatur in phone number 845 0699.

Sel-Hotel Mývatn offers cross-country ski trails from Skútustaðir.
